Marina Ballena National Park is home to the “Whale Tail”, which isn’t well known outside the area for some reason, but is one of the natural wonders of the world. It’s a beach / rock outcropping that forms a perfect whale tail at low tide, and also just happens to be the breeding grounds for whales from both North and South America. Costa Rica Land of Wonders. This is an intro to a film I am working on about the natural wonders of Costa Rica. This is such a gorgeous country with macaws, toucans, howler monkeys and breath-taking landscapes. The people are gracious and friendly and visiting the tropics is a major delight. The accompanying music track is the song “Poncho” by a fantastic group: “Andes Fusion”. I was given permission in writing by group leader Juan Castillo to use this song as the featuring soundtrack.
