Entry from: Victoria Falls, Zambia Entry Title: “Vic Falls” Entry: “Victoria Falls are one of the seven natural wonders, so we were all geared up for a spectacular sight. However, we were left slightly disappointed as the falls were very dry. In place of the majority of the water was a fantastic rock formation. It was still beautiful but not quite what we had envisaged. In order to see the falls from a different angle we also visited Livingstone Island. The Island is right on top of the falls just a short distance from Zimbabwe. Seeing the falls from above was a spectacular sight and certainly made up for the previous day. We were able to walk on the rocks on top of the falls, through the water spray and peer over the edge. To top the morning off we swam in devils pool which is a pool of deep water right at the peak of the falls. We were literally sat on top of the falls; you have to see it to believe it.
