The Eagle And The Hawk cover John Denver

1972 On the Aerie album. His live renditions are second to none. An Amazing and inspiring song that can only raise you up. About 10 years ago the missus and I rented a car in Vegas and drove to Denver over 12 days or so taking in the breathtaking beauty and natural wonders of Nevada,Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and finally Denver. There we trekked by the lower lake of the Maroon Bells, Aspen and into the foothills. I had to go there as a kind of pilgrimage to see for my self what he was talking about. He was not wrong. The natural splendour of the Rockies he sang about so often really reflected what I saw there..We have to do that one againThanks for this one JD!

Beautiful fretwork! Excellent version! I can only imagine how cool you would be with a 12 string!
