    May I add that our dogs never steal anything. Our oldest dog loves vegetables but more over fruit. It’s always laying on the low table. She could grab it easily but she knows its OUR food. So she doesn’t steal it. You can even leave food on the table and she still doesn’t take it. Though from time to time she does try and see if she can get away with sniffing at it. Which will be punished of course. If you never give your dog some of your own food, it won’t steal your food either =]
