Smothering babies isn’t what we’re talking about.. I was bit by a cat once, whilst trying to save the thing from my (small) dog. Sunk its teeth into my wrist in panic. Was hilarious, lifted up and looked at it and it’s eyes were going from me to the dog and back, as if to say “Well I can’t let go!” Squeezed its neck so it did indeed let go, then slung it over the neighbor’s fence. I think it was grateful, poor kitty. Made a hell of a racket though: “Meewooo…. fud!” Lands on its feet my ass…

The usual misunderstanding, as seen in the comments. The dog wants to play, it’s not about winning for the dog. It’s pure play. When it barks it tells the cat: “WTF is wrong with you, chase me then instead of being boring! Come on!”.
dogs are bigger and stronger but cats are made for the wild and kill animals to survive. dogs are man made through thousands of years of selective breading, they beg for pampering and feeding and if left in the wild will die of stavation. with that said a cat vs a dog is like bruse lee vs hunk hogan. they would have to be in a small cage for the dog to win.
