Tells an inspiring story of local townspeople teaming up with environmentalists to save their town from the potential damage caused by timber company Plum Creek’s clear-cutting of a nearby forest. Briana Waters is a violin teacher, mother, and environmental documentary-maker currently serving a 6 year sentence in federal prison (pending appeal) for allegedly participating as in an arson at the University of Washington in 2001. Briana maintains her innocence. Briana is held in Danbury, CT, and has been separated from her partner and their young daughter, who live in California. Your donations help make visits possible.
