@Marcoosianism Amen to that, I work in the industry and feel so frustrated when the center of the conversation is centered on ¨superfoods¨ wait a minute, what about the billions of people who don´t or can´t eat this miracles of nature? I always say when you consider plant foods to be mainly condensed gases, water and sunlight to me that is pretty super in it self. Also to make one food super and the other regular, starts falling in to food stratification which is just not healthy
@firebrandsgirl My grandfather eats raw meats, he is 91 and going strong. Difference here is his meats are free ranged and fresh, he mainly cuts them up in small pieces and soaks the pieces in fresh lime juice with tons of garlic. Then when the meat changes color he eats it, I tried to do this but where I live we only have crappy, old, toxic meats.
@NeedMoreWater I agree with you, and here I disagree with the ¨experts¨on lowering your fruit intake. I know people who cure their incurables with mainly fruits. Depends on where in the world you are and what you have access too, and what you like. Usually we are patronized in to eating what worked for others, even if to us and our body it´s disgusting. I am all about being in sync with your body
@TropicalJosh you can eat raw meats. some cultures do. It can rid decease also.
@NeedMoreWater just think of it as of when it comes rope. Berries in the sping and Pit in the fall. it does suck though hahaha

NeedMoreWater you have nothing to worry about, plenty of people eat alot of fruit and they are fine, search 80 10 10 diet and you will see, it is a great way of life which involves fruit as the main staple

Well, it’s your body, but it sounds like you can learn about glycemic index (GI) to answer those questions.
Those are the sugars you need, in the form you need them. Dont listen to people who dont know what they are talking about.

I’m all for fruit! That’s one person’s opinion.
Wait.. minimal amounts of fruit?? Why is it that sweet stuff always have to be limited, so depressing that even raw fruit is bad for us because of the sugar content. So irritating.. I’m 100% raw, but I still love my fruits, I eat them several times a day.. And then people say “no, fruit is bad for you!”…
Just… leave me alone already..

in my opinion you were much sexier before!
To me, the advocation for super foods defeats the whole concept of a raw food diet which is based on the natural diet humans evolved on. It suggests we can’t exist on fruits, leafy greens, nuts and seeds without the addition of some kind of super nutrients. No, not all humans ate cocoa nibs, goji berries and concentrated spirulina tablets. Organic food is another issue which is of more importance. In my area much organic food is often quite close to the same price of conventional food.
lol fruits are good for you but you have to eat them in moderation because they contain a lot of sugar!
I hear you, but i don’t think you have to make it permanent and you just have to minimize high sugar fruits. it is hard but the more green stuff you eat the faster you reach optimum health and then your body can work out the piece of fruit you give it everyday, just balance it with lots of dark greens. just thought i could encourage you….Good health to you
what does he mean by “eating a minimal amounts of fruit”?? Is’nt fruit raw food? I hate when they take away everything sweet and delicious.. I mean, come on.. Fruit is bad for you now??
It’s hard enough for me to quit “normal” food and convert to raw food, but I NEED my fruits goddammit! Don’t take that away from me!
