Nancy Today: Making candles from beeswax foundations
I had these beehive wax foundations which go in a hive, but instead I used them to make candles, to roll them up into candles. But you have to remove the wire or they get hot and melt the candle down the sides. eeek

@thinkpinkjmf Thanks. I’m not but we can pretend.
@hell0hkitty Really? You got one good memory!
@indigolady52 Thanks. I felt a bit guilty as I could have set up a hive and waited. But this is good for right now.
Do you know what the metal wire is? Could it be lead?? Maybe not since we eat the honey that is built around it. Excellent repurposing!
i remember when you found that beeswax at (we all genuflect here…) THE DUMP….great find!!!!!!
Oh Good, I’m fixed!!! Nice to see you clearly again!!! LOL
I Love Love Love the candle! I like the unique look!!! I soooo have to make Me some! You are Amazing!
@Bethintx1 That is a great idea, wow I may use your idea.
@NancyToday your a very smart Gal! just love you !!
@haeema I’m bowing deeply! I’d never have thunk it either. Thunking is not always necessary. Think Thank Thunk
@1965blaze Well, you’re not actually supposed to use the bee hive foundations cos they are made for the bees. So yes, if you don’t take the wire out, as the candle burns, the wire gets very hot and melts down the side of the candle.
@EverLastingOCD Excellent! Inspiration gives you energy!
@spankses Amen.
@Bethintx1 Hey, what a great idea!
Nancy, you need a helmet-cam! LOL!
good for you plus it smells so sweet….
That is really so cool. I really want to do this now haha.
are you suppose to take the wire out?
@haeema Great Job. Not ob…., but Job.
WOW…, Very Nice . Great ob. Hooray, you are amazing! I never would have thunk about this.
