    I always eat half a cup of cottage cheese before bed. If you do a lot of weight/resistance training the casein protein from the cottage cheese is great for muscle repair and growth.

    @Kevbox2008 actually im gonna have to say i agree with Kevbox here. we all need calories and its where the calories come from which is how we get fat. If we consume alot of calories but they are from lean proteins, vegs/fruits and complex carbs you wont go fat! i have yet so see someone with a clean diet like this to go fat from it. If the calories are from foods which are high is saturated fats etc then you will. Watch where calories are coming from rather than calories themselves

    I prefer to eat Cottage Cheese. The casen protein is slow releasing.
