@jfreesprt Raised cholestrol is not only a concern for diabetics but for non diabetics as well. However, it does not cause any immediate problem; but in years time it is going to narrow the lumen of blood vessels. Narrowing of blood vessels to a diameter less than critical one can lead to decreased blood supply to the area or organ supplied by particular artery. This can cause Angina , heart attack, hemiplegia, bone lesions, retinal damage, kidney failure etc. etc.

@jfreesprt It affects diabetics who get out of shape past 40 I’m guessing, not a person with diabetes who’s in shape and eats 4 eggs a day over or under 40.

I don’t understand. Can you please tell me how does Cholesterol effect diabetes? How does it raise or lower blood sugar levels? I am trying to help my husband control his blood sugar levels, but I don’t know about this cholesterol problem. He eats 4 eggs a day! Maybe that is why he is having trouble with low blood sugar problems.???
