@sniper244 The smartest thing I heard all day!
@NPJPKelso , the goal of eating grass fed and free range meats is less about avoiding sickness and more about striving for optimal health and helping the planet since 5 billion meat eaters is not sustainable long term.
I eat meat every day. I usually have kosher meats. When I cook my meat, cow, lamb, deer, or bison I cook it borderline well done. I have yet to get sick and this overly cautious stuff…is well, not needed.
I only eat grass-fed, organic beef raw. It really didnt take any time to adjust. The commercial meat I sear a little on each side. This is steaks of course, not ground beef. Never poultry. Wild caught fish I will eat right from the water. fillet it and chow down. If there is any question as to how long its been exposed to open air, heat it. Commercial steaks I marinade in lemon juice and worcestershire sause for bout hour. Wonderful flavor and no side effects. Veggies…no brainer. No grains.
Man, Your crazy to eat any kind of meat without fire. Wild or not doesn’t mean it doesn’t contain parasites or salmonella. You think this world is about balance? Your right! You die and the cautious survive Fire it and you live. Don’t fire it and you get sick and die a miserable death. Your decision! OUT
